Ever wonder why service and quality is so poor today when just back in the 70s and 80s it was so GOOD?

Recently I went to a local MacDonalds for a Big Mac and I saw a sign in the employees area written in Spanish which said to was your hands when leaving the bathroom before you serve any food. I asked the girl who was serving me where the English sign was. She replied there was none! Everyone working at this MacDonalds was of Spanish heritage or Mexican. What bother me the most was that if there was no English sign then it meant no one there could read English….in fact this phenomenon is so predominate in our American society that even at HOME DEPOT now every isle in the store has Spanish translation for the NUT and BOLT isle.

In fact this new lower quality extends so far that when someone can not read or write in English in the USA then as it actually happened to me that my new house was built by Mexicans I’m not sure if they were legal or not but NONE of them spoke English and so that also meant they could not read or write English. So when the new toilets arrived for installation they all arrived in boxes and were labeled Master bath, Guest bathroom etc etc. Well I’m sure you can guess what happened the Master bath toilet was installed in the Guest bathroom and vice versa. Can we blame them that they can’t read, write or speak English?

NO There should never be any BLAME on Mexicans! We should blame the US Government for letting them come across the border and work here, YES we should blame businesses that allow uneducated non English speaking people to work in their business.  WOW! I remember in the 70’s and 80’s an Employer required you have a High school education before they hired you.  WHAT HAPPENED that changed all this? 

Do Mexicans NOW have SPECIAL PRIVILEGES? Sure thing you can work in any restaurant as a cook even if you can’t read the sign that says WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE TOUCHING THE FOOD!

YA Quality is not what it used to be. But rest assured we are being to learn to EAT BURNT, DRIED OUT, OVER COOKED AND OLD WARMER OVEN BURGERS just the way Mexicans like to serve them!

Are you a Mexican? Is this question now an offensive or discriminatory question? If so then being a Mexican and not wanting to admit it means you’re ashamed to be a Mexican and if you take any offense to being called a Mexican then you have a BIG Problem!  People always ask others if they are Chinese, Vietnamese or Korean and they don’t take offense when asked.

However when Spanish/Mexican students are asked a question starting as early as high school, students now use the discrimination card as their offensive answer in fact if a Mexican or Latin student don’t like something in school their 3^rd World mentality comes right out of their pocket a KNIFE OR A EVEN A GUN BUT FOR SURE A FIGHT IS ALWAYS THEIR FIRST ANSWER. WOW!!! How impressive! So you can’t read or write in English so you want to show society that you can FIGHT and shoot people! 

Right like we really want you in the USA so you can be a LOW LIFE and LIFE TIME CRIMMINAL.

It’s really too bad 50% of ALL Mexicans can’t read or write even in SPANISH. The average Mexican has a 7^th Grade education see the FACTS below it comes from the Mexican Government YA That’s right. That means a 7^th grader is usually about 12-13 years old. So do you still want to HIRE a NON ENGLISH SPEAKING, NO HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION, ILLITERATE MEXICAN?

Penalties

Current law 

- Sanctions against employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants:

Civil violations

-First offense: Fines of $250 to $2,000 per violation.

-Second offense: $2,000 to $5,000.

-Third offense: $3,000 to $10,000.

-Improperly filling out I-9 forms verifying employee eligibility: $100 to $1,000 per form.

(Fines also subject to increase based on escalation clause pegged to inflation.)

Criminal violations

-Those who engage in a pattern or practice of knowingly hiring illegal entrants: Fine of up to $3,000 per entrant and up to six months in prison.

Penalties for illegal immigrants:

-Unlawful entry: A criminal misdemeanor subject to six months in prison. Up to two years in prison for subsequent offenses.

-Unlawful re-entry after deportation: A felony, up to 10 years in prison.

- Overstaying visas: A civil violation. Ineligible to return to the United States for at least three years for overstays of more than six months. Barred from returning for at least 10 years for overstays of more than a year.

House bill

- Sanctions against employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants:

Civil violations

-First offense: $5,000 to $7,500 per violation.

-Second offense: $10,000 to $15,000.

- Third offense: $25,000 to $40,000.

-Improperly filling out I-9 forms verifying employee eligibility: $1,000 fine to $25,000 per violation.

Criminal violations

-Those who engage in a pattern or practice of knowingly hiring illegal entrants: Fine of up to $50,000 and no less than one year in prison.

Penalties for illegal immigrants:

-Unlawful entry: felony, up to a year and a day in prison.

-Overstaying visas: would be called unlawful presence, a felony, up to a year and a day in prison.

(House leaders say they are receptive to reducing the punishment to a misdemeanor during future negotiations.)

Senate judiciary committee plan

- Sanctions against employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants:

Civil violations

-First offense: $500 to $4,000 per violation.

- Second offense: $4,000 to 10,000.

-Third offense: $6,000 to $20,000.

-Improperly filling out I-9 forms verifying employee eligibility: $200 to $2,000 per form.

Criminal violations

- Those who engage in a pattern or practice of knowingly hiring illegal entrants: Fine of up to $20,000 per entrant; up to six months in prison.

Penalties for illegal immigrants:

-Unlawful entry: No change in current law.

-Overstaying visas: No change.

Getting a Visa

-Foreign citizens who want to enter the United States must first get a visa from their local U.S. Embassy. There are two categories:

- Nonimmigrant visas for a limited visit for a specific purpose.

- Immigrant visas for those who want to move permanently to the United States.

There are different types of non-immigrant visas, including the A-1 for diplomatic visitors, the H for temporary workers and the F-1 for students. Most nonimmigrant visas are given to tourists and business visitors.

The process for getting an immigrant visa is complicated, and applicants usually have to be sponsored by a relative who is a U.S. citizen or by an employer.

Legal immigrants receive lawful permanent residence, or “green cards” that allow them to work in the United States and identify them as permanent residents. (These cards are mostly pink now, but they were green years ago, and the name has stuck.)

There also is the yearly Diversity Immigrant Visa Program, a lottery of 50,000 green cards. Applicants worldwide can apply for the program, although not every country is included.

Becoming a permanent resident is not the same as being a U.S. citizen. To become a U.S. citizen, a person must be “naturalized,” a process with several requirements, which include:

-Living in the United States as a legal permanent resident for a continuous period of time.

-Taking an oath of allegiance to the United States.

-Reading, writing and speaking English.

-Knowing the basics of U.S. history and government.

Guest workers

Q Why are supporters of a guest-worker program pushing to get it?

AU.S. businesses want a steady source of low-skilled and unskilled workers in such jobs as construction, cleaning, restaurant labor and landscaping. They say they need roughly 500,000 workers each year because of a chronic labor shortage in the robust U.S. economy. Foreign workers are the only realistic supply.

Q: Given the cyclical nature of the economy, what happens when there is no longer a labor shortage?

A: Most proposals would create a government task force to verify that employers made an effort to hire U.S. workers and gauge the impact of foreign workers on U.S. jobs and wages. Proposed caps in major Senate bills would range up to 400,000 a year, and the supply could be adjusted downward, depending on need.

Q: Aren’t there currently temporary guest-worker programs available to U.S. employers?

A: Yes, but none creating a steady supply of low- or unskilled workers. Up to 65,000 college-educated professionals and high-tech workers enter the country each year under the H-1B program. The H-2A program is confined to agricultural workers. Up to 66,000 unskilled workers are permitted annually under the H-2B program for seasonal or one-time jobs that last no more than one year.

Q: Would illegal immigrants now in the country participate in the program?

A: This is another source of contention, and proposals vary widely. In October, the Bush administration endorsed the inclusion of “those who are here unlawfully” in a temporary-worker program once they had paid as-yet unspecified fines. The Senate Judiciary Committee bill would put most illegal residents on track to permanent legal status under a six-year visa program separate from the guest-worker plan; those who entered the United States after January 2004 could become guest workers, but they would have to leave the country to apply.

What a GREAT Story the Bill FAILED as it should have. Perhaps the Senate realized that it is a privilege to be accepted into the USA and given after (7) years if you’ve really been a good citizen then you can apply to be a US Citizen.

Many Americans are so giving in their good nature, we give to charities so often, we help our neighbors, we try to be humane and their lies our weakness. Many Americans love Mexicans and Why not? Mexicans are fundamentally wonderful people….However it’s this misconception that many of us have, We’re not against Mexicans just the illegal Mexican Aliens and Mexicans that take away rights from American tax payers.

I can tell you about a building contractor that hired illegal Mexican aliens to build a new house. During the process of putting the roof up one of the illegal aliens fell through the roof and got injured. Within less than a week that same illegal Mexican alien filed a personal injury lawsuit against the builder for $2 Million dollars. This never went to court however it took 6 months of dealing with attorneys and a pay off of $250,000 to the illegal Mexican alien to drop the lawsuit.

In fact this is not a new idea it’s been around for a long time. This should have been the #1 reason to offer Amnesty to illegal aliens. Here’s how the proposal should have been offered to the Senate.

1) Require all illegal aliens to serve 2 years in military. From age 18 and older all men would be drafted for training and duty services.

2) Women would be required to serve 2 years in public government services within the Military as support personnel.

3) All illegal aliens would also be required to pass a written and speaking exam after the 2 years to be eligible to receive a green card. During the 2 year period all illegal aliens would be required to take classes on the military base to learn to read, write and speak English.

4) All illegal aliens would also be required to construct facilities that would be suitable for military personnel.

5) Any illegal aliens that are unable or not willing to comply to this service could be deported at will.

6) All Military laws would be applicable to these illegal aliens in the program and would also be criminally charged for desertion, disloyalty or treachery.

In summary US Citizens would be proud to accept these US complied aliens for serving this country over a 2 year period, having learned a trade in the military, learned to read, write and speak English. We would have a NEW FOUND respect and admiration to our newly arrived green card holders. These people could now fit into the main stream of American life with less challenges and more prosperity for themselves and other Americans that they would work with.

Why can’t our US Government come up with a cleaver TAX for Mexicans coming across our borders daily? Did you know that we have more than 2.65 million entries per month in just one border location feeding San Diego at the San Ysidro border crossing and that’s just passenger vehicles. Counting all California border crossings passenger vehicles in 2006 we had 65,345,181. YES! This means Millions of Mexicans are coming to work in the USA! And coming in from the Texas borders we have an additional 91,493,127 Mexicans crossing in 2006. These numbers are staggering and they represent mostly Mexicans coming to work in the USA.

I thought our tax dollars would pay for freeways…..this only applies if the US government can afford to build it and if locals vote on an increased tax to have a freeway built in their area.THE SOLUTION is soooo clear we can learn from the Mexican government on how to raise money to pay for our Freeways and Highways so our taxes don’t go up and that we can avoid paying private companies and the tolls they are proposing on our new freeways. SIMPLE Have a BORDER TOLL to enter the USA this TOLL should be for every single person entering the USA. Imagine if the toll were $10 per person we could collect $1.6 Billion dollars at a minimum per year from our visiting neighbors. At $20 per person you would double the border toll revenue. I would also propose that if the US Government initiated the Border Toll that the majority of the toll money would go to the major metropolitan cities close to the border since these cities are mostly effected economically from the job saturation of these daily Mexican workers. If you have any stories or articles you’d like to contribute click  the registration button to add your article.
